Privacy notice
This notice explains how Dowr Technologies uses the personal information you give it. Dowr Technologies is the trading name of Jacob Tucker, a sole trader based in Bristol, United Kingdom. What is collected
If you send an enquiry through the form or by email, Dowr receives your name, email address, your message and any files you attach, such as sketches, photos or CAD files.
How it is used
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- If you become a client, to carry out the work, send invoices and keep business records.
The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract. Business records are also kept to meet legal and tax obligations.
Who it is shared with
Your information is not sold or used for marketing. It is handled by these service providers on Dowr's behalf:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives form submissions.
- Google Workspace, which provides Dowr's email.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within two years. Records for paid work are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, to meet HMRC requirements.

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email jacob@dowr.uk. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
